Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States and the first African-American to hold the office. He was born in Hawaii and raised in Indonesia and Kansas. He graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law School. He then went on to become a civil rights lawyer, a professor, and a US Senator. He was elected President in 2008 and re-elected in 2012. During his time in office, he championed healthcare reform, climate change action, and improved relations with Cuba. His legacy will live on in the hearts of the American people!
