Once upon a time there was a man named Norman Borlaug who was a real life hero! He was a scientist who worked tirelessly to help feed the world through his research in agricultural science. He developed new varieties of wheat, rice and other grains that increased crop yields and saved hundreds of millions of people from starvation. Borlaug's work earned him the Nobel Peace Prize and he was known as the "Father of the Green Revolution". His legacy lives on today as a reminder of the power of science to make the world a better place!
