Willie Aames is an American actor, film and television director, television producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles as Tommy Bradford on the 1970s and 1980s television series Eight Is Enough, and as Buddy Lembeck on the 1980s television series Charles in Charge. Aames has also appeared in films such as Paradise, The Pirate Movie, and Zapped!, as well as in television movies such as The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island, The Love Boat: A Valentine Voyage, and the television miniseries The Bible. Aames has also directed episodes of Charles in Charge, Smallville, and 7th Heaven. He is currently a spokesperson for Christian ministries.
