There are any number of people who profess to be good Christian people who are willing to believe all kinds of things on suspicion. Now that is not the way the Bible directs for Christian people to do.

Once upon a time there was a man named John Harvey Kellogg. He was a doctor, inventor, and health food enthusiast. He believed that a healthy diet was the key to good health and so he created the famous breakfast cereal, Corn Flakes. He was also a bit of a health nut and would often preach to his patients about the importance of exercise and a healthy diet. He was so passionate about this that he even had a special diet for his patients which included no meat, no spices, lots of plain food and lots of enemas! Despite his eccentricities, John Harvey Kellogg was an important figure in the history of nutrition and health food, and his legacy lives on in the form of the many breakfast cereals he created. So next time you’re enjoying a bowl of Corn Flakes, remember to thank John Harvey Kellogg for making it possible.
