There are many outsiders that actively try to halt every natural resource development project in Alaska. Many of these same people have never even been to Alaska, yet they claim to know what’s best for us.

Lisa Murkowski is a long-serving U.S. Senator from Alaska, making history as the first Alaskan-born member of Congress. Despite losing a primary election in 2010, she staged a successful write-in campaign to retain her seat, becoming the second senator ever elected by write-in vote. Known as a moderate Republican, Murkowski has taken independent stances on key issues, including breaking with her party to vote against Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination.
