Meaning of the quote

Only that in you which is me can hear what I'm saying. This quote means that the parts of you that are similar to me, or the parts of you that are like me, are the ones that can truly understand and listen to what I'm saying. It's not the differences between us that allow us to connect, but the things we have in common. When we find the things we share, that's when we can really hear and connect with each other.
