Vince Clarke, an English synth-pop musician and songwriter, is the main composer and musician of the band Erasure. He has also been the main songwriter for several other popular groups like Depeche Mode and Yazoo. Despite his low-key onstage demeanor, Erasure has sold over 28 million albums worldwide, and Clarke was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020 as a member of Depeche Mode.
